Story Behind The Song
The song was inspired by an elderly neighbour, an ex soldier who spent his time gazing into the distance, clearly reminiscing but never dwelt on the past. He led a lonely life, but because of his pride would not accept help, not until he could no longer walk and had several falls.
Song Description
Harry Collins, ex soldier, ex lover and a proud man lives apart from society, despite being in the city. He is simply stating his case, and will only accept help and in fact expects it, when he really needs it.

Lyrics
My name is Harry Collins, you've never heard of me.
I live on my own in a crowded place and I treasure my own company.
It's four in the morning and I'm singing my song
To my friends in these four walls
But I won't look back, and I won't back down,
Just catch me when I fall.
My name is Harry Collins, what you get is what you see
I have walked the line a thousand times and I make no apologies,
I live my life through the TV screen and the newspapers in the hall
But I won't look back and I won't back down,
Just catch me when I fall.
Sometimes I get to thinking about the days gone by,
One day I'll tell my story to the nearest passer-by.
My name is Harry Collins, now you've heard it all,
But I won't look back and I won't back down,
Just catch me when I fall.
My name is Harry Collins, I don't need your sympathy,
I have fought for love, I have fought out of hate,
And I'll fight for my dignity
I have spoke my mind, I have held my tongue
Sometimes said nothing at all,
But I won't look back, and I won't back down,
Just catch me when I fall...
Just catch me when I fall.
